DATE: Sunday 31st July
MEETING: Woodhaugh gardens on Duke St
ROUTE: Distance 35-50km, 800-1100 metres of climbing.
Mostly gravel climbing on Leith Valley Rd and descending on Waitati Valley Rd to Waitati with an optional visit to Doctors Point Beach. Returning home the same way on the gravel, or do the Mt Cargill road climb for a loop. Ride time 2.5-3 hours.
PIT STOP: Waitati for coffee/ food mid ride
BIKES: Gravel, MTB OR CX
ABILITY: The ride is non technical, a small amount of road and largely gravel roads. Social ride for riders with an intermediate level of fitness.
